ESC Speed controller details:

• The new XR8 Pro G3 controller is more compact than the PRO G2 version (1.3 mm shorter and 5.3 mm narrower, i.e. 15% smaller).

• Dual braking mode: This technology provides a braking linearity reminiscent of disc brake operation on a full-size vehicle. This "disc brake" mode makes it possible to manage braking force and distribution.

• The ESC's new design, combined with "freewheel" technology, ensures greater efficiency and lower operating temperature. Maximum temperature is reduced by around 15°.

• Intelligent fan operation: Intelligent starting and stopping of the fan reduces noise and saves energy. The ESC fan doesn't run when the temperature is low, but switches on when the set temperature is reached. The integrated fan features frameless technology (30x30x10) for improved performance and reliability.

• Advanced Boost & Turbo Timing technology: when paired with a compatible motor, the controller inherits the same Turbo Timing technology used on the XR10 Pro series used in 1/10th on and off-road. This ESC supports up to 48 degrees of Boost and Turbo Timing. This setting provides a 50% increase in performance.

• The ESC is IP5X-rated: this guarantees highly effective dust protection for driving in a variety of environments.

• The ESC also features a small fan guard.

• Supplied with 12 AWG (2.30mm) diameter cables.

• 5 built-in common profiles, suitable for all 1/8 cars in competition, select and use instantly. (For example, Zero timing-Blinky mode, 1/8 off-road race, 1/8 track, 1/8 GT GT8, 1/8 sport mode).

• 29 built-in adjustable parameters to define various power requirements.

• Settings can be imported and exported, allowing drivers to communicate and learn from each other by sharing their settings directly with friends.

• Supports ESC software updates via the V2 multifunction LCD programming box or OTA programmer (required at time of purchase). This means you can take advantage of the latest functions and upgrade your drive as soon as an update is released.

• Multiple functions: low-voltage protection, thermal protection of ESC, motor and capacitor.

• The BEC power supply output can be modulated with a maximum output of 15A and an adjustable voltage from 6V to 8.4V (in 0.1V increments) for use with servos and other devices requiring different voltages.

• The ESC's integrated reverse connection protection circuit prevents damage to the ESC due to polarity error. Perfect when you distracted :-)

• The offline data logging function can read out all the maximum data reached.

• ESC and motor temperature and speed can be read directly via the smartphone app via HW Link (requires OTA programmer - sold separately), which is handy for the driver to analyze the operation of the power system.

• Real-time data logging function: open this function by connecting the ESC with HW Link via OTA Programmer. It allows you to check power, voltage, current, temperature, rpm and other data in real time, and obtain the operating status of the controller and motor.
