Kyosho Ultima RB 7.5 1/10 2wd racing buggy
Kyosho Ultima RB 7.5 1/10 2wd racing buggy
Kyosho's 1/10-scale Ultima EP buggy has an impressive racing history, with several world championship titles to its credit, and continues to offer a wide range of models, from entry-level to high-end versions. The flagship model, the RB7, has evolved into the RB7.5, incorporating numerous enhancements to optimize its performance.
The RB7.5 is distinguished by its large-diameter 13mm oil shock absorbers, fitted with X-ring seals, guaranteeing smoother operation and preventing leaks.
Shock towers are now made of carbon fiber, offering both lightness and strength, and greater resistance to extreme racing conditions. A new guard on the front of the shock mounts protects against damage in the event of going upside down (so as not to damage indoor carpets).
At the rear, aluminum rear hubs increase rigidity while offering more adjustment options. Although the bodywork is based on the RB7 model, it benefits from aerodynamic improvements thanks to a new spoiler at the rear of the cabin, an optimized rear spoiler and the addition of a front wing, aimed at maximizing aerodynamic performance.
With the integration of innovative components and the standardization of several high-performance enhancements, the RB7.5 retains its original strengths while perfecting itself to compete at the highest level. It's designed to meet the demands of competitive drivers, whether on traditional dirt tracks or modern, high-grip carpet or astro surfaces.
Key features:
- 1/10-scale electric racing (EP) buggy design with a low center of gravity, optimized for high-grip surfaces (carpet or astro).
- New bodyshell with improved aerodynamics, based on the previous model, delivered unpainted.
- Front and rear double-wishbone suspension with excellent surface tracking, and newly designed aluminum oil dampers.
- Universal swing-type rear driveshafts for more efficient handling.
- Chrome-plated steel rods for greater reliability and resistance.
- Aluminum rear suspension mount allows toe-in angle and tread adjustment by changing bushings.
- Laydown gearbox with spur gear cover, interchangeable with other types by purchasing separate parts.
- Ball differential for dirt tracks, and slipper to protect gears from overload.
- Durable, high-precision tungsten differential balls.
- Kit primarily designed for dirt tracks, easily modified for high-grip carpet surfaces with few modifications.
- Compatible with optional parts for custom settings and upgrades.
- Front and rear shock absorber mounts have been upgraded from the RB7's plastic to 4mm-thick carbon fiber, significantly improving strength and rigidity.
- Shock absorbers with 13mm pistons, considerably improving damping and the car's behavior on jumps.
- The LCG battery mount allows the weight distribution between front and rear to be adjusted, and features a tool-free, one-touch system for rapid battery installation and removal.
- Front wing now standard.
