Body shell for 1/10 4x4 buggy Team Associated B84.

JConcepts once again reaches into its box of tricks with the latest body for 1/10-scale off-road racing. The new Striker, inspired by one of the world’s fastest closed-cockpit race cars, the LMP. The flagship feature, the enveloping cockpit with sunglasses-style glazing, gives it a unique look. In the 2010s, Brian Kinwald wore this type of glazing on some of his off-road race cars and JConcepts has combined his inspiration with ours to form the new pod-style cab.

At the rear, a newly designed stabilizing fin rises toward the back of the shell to offer stability and performance characteristics in the P2 style. The front of the ramped section blends into a small roof vent reminiscent of the BJ4 Worlds edition and adds a finishing touch to the central section of the body. The side pods, the simplest yet from JConcepts, feature rounded shapes, rounded edges and varying heights that hover above the chassis geometry stress points and internal electronic concerns to fit perfectly to the Team Associated B84/B84D chassis.

In front of the windshield, a slight groove reorients the aero from the front shock tower to offer a more exploitable windshield surface. The shell includes the iconic wing for carpet | turf | dirt, in the fast and popular 6.5” width, optimized. The Striker untrimmed for the RC10B7.1 fits nicely around the chassis, passes through the front shock tower and wraps around the chassis like a glove.

This body is delivered in transparent polycarbonate with protective film and is available in standard and lightweight thicknesses. Carefully manufactured at the JConcepts headquarters in Groveland, Florida.
