An essential element of the JConcepts lineup, the Punisher body made its debut in the off-road category during the 2010 racing season.

During the following decade, the design team, in collaboration with drivers, pushed the boundaries and reinvented the Punisher over time.

The P2 design arrived just in time for the IFMAR World Championships 2017, where the team tested and validated its performance characteristics on the Xiamen, China track. The ultra-competitive body underwent new evolutions in view of the IFMAR World Championships 2025 to be perfectly ready to face the Castle Hills track, in Australia.

The P2X is designed to provide more rear downforce and was developed with our professional team of drivers to deliver better rear traction, more balance, and a new asset for the outdoor track conditions (often slippery).

The P2X dominated the competition at Castle Hills, marking its supremacy by taking the pole position as well as the 1st, 2nd and 3rd places in the overall standings in the 4x2 class. Broc Champlin took the victory for the JConcepts team thanks to his speed, racing sense, and a vehicle that handled the conditions better than the competition.

The versatility of the P2X — providing grip when needed, dimensional stability at the right moment, and a genuine tuning tool — makes it a benchmark 2WD buggy aerodynamic package, paired with front and rear wing options available separately at JConcepts.

The P2X ships with wing #0197, the category leader, which has demonstrated exceptional performance on carpet, turf and dirt since its development. For drivers seeking increased rear stability, the Illuzion 7” rear wing "monster" (#0531) is available separately, as used during the world championships.

The P2X's air-channeling concept starts at the front with an advanced windshield featuring a new curvature that reduces the front aerodynamic load and makes the vehicle easier to drive (softer steering). The design then extends over the cockpit, dives deeply into the rear section, then reappears as a widened double wing, positioned right in front of the rear wheels in a horizontal plane. The distinctive element introduced in 2010, the central "shark fin", is slightly higher on this world-champion body and extends nearly the full length, from the cabin to the rear shocks.

The dual windows of the P2X recall JConcepts heritage, dating back to the original Illuzion body. The sides are heavily chamfered, a style popularized by the early #gojconcepts bodies in the early 2000s. In front of the windshield, an air deflector guides airflow at the front, aligned with the geometry of the front shock tower. This high-performance element offers optimal protection and envelopes the pinion guard like a glove.

The world-champion set includes two 6.5” Carpet | Turf | Dirt wings, which have become a global racing standard. The body features all cut lines and window outlines etched, as well as masks to quickly cover the interior of the windows during painting. The P2X body shown in the photo is only an example of what can be achieved in terms of custom painting and art (not included), done worldwide. The body is delivered in transparent polycarbonate with protective film, available in standard or lightweight thickness, and is not painted.

A versatile and popular JConcepts decal sheet is included to decorate the new shell according to your preferences, while a simple instruction sheet covers the basics for beginner or less experienced painters. The wing-equipped shells are carefully packaged in Groveland, Florida, stapled and labeled by professionals for customers seeking a premium option.
