The JConcepts system for the RC10B7 | RC10B7D allows the driver to adjust the height of the steering rack ball instead of the original system. Faster adjustment for the driver and less disassembly each time. The steering rack features a steel insert that can be oriented upwards or downwards, mimicking the standard adjustment of raising or lowering the suspension arms. The all-metal, machined parts combine to form a solid assembly capable of quick adjustment. 

Another option offered on the parts is a new attachment point for the steering arm. The steering arm, which runs from the vehicle's servo to the plate, can now be moved to a position with more mechanical strength or power. JConcepts has included a ball joint and a button headed screw that allows a new point to be placed directly above the rack. To use this position, it is necessary to remove some material from the upper deck to obtain full steering and to use a 0 offset servo arm (not included) for a better fit.

In addition, the stock position is also designed into the assembly to use standard hardware to assemble the components as original. For this construction, it is necessary to use the bearings included in the AE kit for the steering yokes and steering rack.

Once assembled, the new steering kit allows the driver to make adjustments quickly and with new options not previously available.

The JConcepts steering rack and pinions are CNC machined for a precise fit, anodized in gloss blue or stealth black, and finished with laser marking and machined chamfered edges. The included titanium brackets assemble easily, screw onto the frame and allow the crosspieces to pivot perfectly. Also included are steel ball-and-socket inserts for the rack, enabling self-tightening assembly with standard kit components. Screws are 3 mm, high steering stud, standardized washers and safety locknuts complete a winning assembly.
