That's the simplicity of Kyosho Readyset kits. With its small scale, the MINI-Z Racer is perfect for indoor driving and ideal for those new to the world of RC cars.

This Readyset MINI-Z RWD features an all-new two-wheel drive chassis. Previous Readyset models were based on the 3rd generation MR-03 chassis, but the current model incorporates the 4th generation MR-04 chassis, launched in 2023.

While retaining some of the design features of the MR-03, the MR-04 is distinguished by its lower center of gravity, redesigned steering and impressive speed, offering excellent maneuverability, as demonstrated by the top-of-the-range EVO2 model.

The MR-04 chassis is fitted with an R/C system and comes with bodywork finished to high quality standards. This Readyset includes the same MR-04 chassis as the other top-of-the-range models, with an easy-to-use Class 130 brushed motor and the Syncro KT-531P wheel transmitter, renowned for its reliability.

Simply insert four AAA batteries into the car and transmitter to start enjoying the experience. High performance is available right from the basic configuration, but can be further enhanced by adding a wide range of optional MINI-Z parts. With its excellent handling and meticulous finish, the MR-04 chassis takes the R/C experience to the next level.

The GTR was the competition model of the McLaren F1. Crowning its first year in 1995 with an overall victory at the 24 Hours of Le Mans, the GTR enjoyed spectacular success on the racing scene in the 1990s.

This limited edition model commemorates the 30th anniversary of FDL, Kyosho's distributor in France and Europe.

While retaining the best aspects of the MR-03, the new MR-04's lower center of gravity offers significant performance improvements. The MR-04's ease of control makes it an ideal introduction to radio-controlled cars.

New front ball joints with integrated pivots reduce friction by 1.5 mm on each side compared to the MR-03, resulting in more precise, linear control. The switch to 3 mm internal diameter ball bearings also reduces resistance to rotation.

The front suspension dynamically aligns the camber angle with the movement of the upper link to maintain optimum tire contact during cornering. The revised caster angle also improves steering response.

The car is powered by four AAA alkaline or NiMh rechargeable batteries. The batteries are mounted lower than on the MR-03, lowering the center of gravity of the entire chassis and improving cornering stability and straight-line handling.

The rear suspension uses a coil-spring shock absorber to cushion the impact of the track surface and improve steering stability. It can also be fitted with an optional hydraulic shock absorber.

The flexibility of the T-shaped rear suspension plate, which holds the entire rear pod, including engine and rear axle, produces an excellent suspension effect. Optional parts are also available in FRP or carbon fiber.

All wheels are fitted as standard with low-rotation-resistance ball bearings. The same size ball bearings are used front and rear to save on spare parts.

When replacing the standard body, a set of parts is included to modify the front tread (vehicle width) to suit the non-standard body to be installed. The rear tread can be modified by changing the wheel offset.

Includes a Syncro KT-531P transmitter with a steering wheel that mimics the steering wheel of a real car, and a trigger throttle for precise speed control. Adjust the neutral position of the steering and throttle with trims, as well as the steering angle with dual speed control. It's also possible to operate in training mode with reduced vehicle speed for kids for example (training mode is the default setting).
