The Splinter is an ultra-low-profile 4x2 Slim tire for 1/10th Off Road buggies, released in 2024.
It is particularly suited to carpet and astro tracks.
Tests have shown that the Splinter tire has characteristics similar to those of the low-profile Cut Stagger tire. It offers a secure driving feel, but also a stronger steering feel than the Fusion Slim.
This has been achieved by reducing the sidewall height, which reduces carcass movement. In addition to the carcass design, our tread and lug design have been developed to offer stability while maintaining a high level of steering.
