Reinforces tire sidewalls. Yellow color for "hard" hold.
By gluing this insert (with tire glue) to the inside of the tire, the outside of your tire's carcass will be highly stiffened.
This makes your car more predictable and easier to drive on high-grip tracks.
Of course, this technique is not the same as using a harder compound tire, as you'll still have soft tread and studs for maximum traction.
