In August 1983, just six months after its debut, a new Kyosho machine wowed its most established rivals at the 5th JMRCA 1/12 Electric Racing Car National Championships in Japan, held on a specially constructed track at Nakayama Racecourse in Chiba prefecture.
The FANTOM EP 4WD revives its glory days as the first track racing model and the 9th addition to the Kyosho Vintage series!
The FANTOM EP 4WD pioneered specifications such as the FRP chassis which created a suspension effect providing optimum weight balance on the inner wheel.
The 2020 version model not only recreates the look and feel of the original, but also maintains superior speed and stability in the corners, even on low-grip surfaces, with its part-time 4x4 and front end with one-way.
As with all Vintage Series models, every key component follows the original design but has been enhanced to handle the latest power sources and deliver the distinctive FANTOM handling and control on modern RC circuits.
