The Racetec RC Nitro Engine compression gauge lets you check the health of your engines in the blink of an eye.

Check the wear of your engines in or out of the car quickly and easily. This tool allows you to find potential reliability or performance problems in seconds (e.g. piston liner wear).

Pinch is a basic test of any engine, from the car you drive to off-road vehicles and now to RC engines. The compression gauge fits all RC engines fitted with a turbo glow plug. 

To check the condition of your engine:

• Screw on the gauge replacing the glow plug.
• Turn engine over by hand.
• Read the pressure value on the display.

If the value is between 0.55 and 0.7 bar, your engine is in good health. If the value is lower, you'll need to replace the piston sleeve assembly, as your engine has lost its pinch, which is essential to its proper operation and stability.
