Hobbywing has just updated its latest HW Link V2 application which allows many benefits. With this you can connect your speed controller directly to your Wifi or OTA module and adjust its parameters, but also update the software directly with your phone.

This is a huge advantage because you do not need to directly connect the programming card to a Computer. There is therefore no need for this material to update your drive, and even less the usual USB cable to carry out the latest updates.

So log on to the Apple Store or the Play store to download this latest version. It is indeed more stable, faster and has new features:

• Real-time display of the parameters and performance of your motor and speedo combo
• Compatibility with the latest 1/8 Xerun G2 Pro 200A ESC
• Bug resolved

Procedure for connecting your speed controller:

It's very simple! All you need to do is power up your ESC, having previously connected the OTA module or the WiFi module to the port provided for this purpose (generally in place of the fan).

On your smartphone, connect to the module via bluetooth or wifi in the settings menu (the original password is usually 888888).

Open the HW Link V2 app. The connection should be done very easily and quickly you can also change the password in its settings.

You now have access to all the functions of your Speedo, the different operating modes and also the possibility of modifying all the parameters such as Punch, Boost, turbo, Drag brake, Dead Zone etc.
