A complete lap counting system for radio-controlled cars at small scales, such as Mini-Z Kyosho 1/28 or 1/24.
The Mini Race Challenge Lap timing system is meticulously designed and optimized for very small cars, making it perfectly compatible with the models of the brands mentioned.
The pack includes the 100 m long counting system to place under the track, as well as 4 adhesive transponders to place above the car (see photo).
Each car is equipped with a small passive sticker (no battery). These stickers are strategically placed on the chassis or inside the body, depending on the car size and the track thickness.
This advanced system guarantees reliability, precision and the ability to detect several cars simultaneously. It keeps the car light and timing the cars precisely.
The receiver unit reads the transponders effortlessly using an ultra-flat cable (~0.1 mm), which allows convenient placement directly under the track. Data transmission is via the dedicated app "Mini Race Challenge", compatible with Android and iOS mobile devices, as well as PCs. The connectivity options include the Bluetooth or a USB-C cable (for PC use only).
Moreover, the system integrates perfectly with zRound, exclusively via a USB cable on a Windows PC.
Powered by the USB-C cable connected to a PC, a standard mobile charger or a power bank, the Mini Race Challenge tracking system offers versatility and convenience.
