Differential Step

The manual states that IF751 shafts must be used instead of IF411. Indeed, using the stock steel gears from the MP11 may prematurely damage the IF411 differential shafts.

Kits are supplied with the original IF751 shafts, but if you are using MP10 differentials, you will need to replace the shafts with optional ones, or with the aluminium version IFW467.

Arm Inserts

While awaiting a complete chart of insert positions and their effects on resulting angles, this addendum aims to recommend the “stock” positions for the suspension arm block inserts.

MP11 kits were delivered with 92 mm driveshafts. After several months of use, it appears that these driveshafts can be too short, and when using the differentials in the low-front / high-rear positions, the driveshafts may come out of the differential outdrives.

There are two options in this case: either use the inner insert positions as shown in this addendum, or use the 93 mm driveshafts, released as an option at a reduced price for all users as a commercial gesture from Kyosho.

Turnbuckle Lengths

The manual displays incorrect values for the turnbuckle lengths. During assembly, use the measurements indicated. However, we always recommend adjusting your camber angles using a setup station or at least a camber gauge.

The angle value measured at the wheel will be the only accurate indicator of your setup.

See you soon for the next episode!
