There are many brands of silicone oil on the market today for the shock absorbers or differentials of your on-road or off-road radio-controlled car.
Today, like all the products we select on our site, we offer you the best possible quality, whether it is the XTR, Kyosho, Team Associated or TLR Team Losi Racing brands.
Each brand has its specificities. We also advise you to always stick with the same brand of oil in your trolley bag, so that you can adjust the settings of your car precisely and efficiently.
Some top drivers present their setup sheets with viscosities marked in cSt or in WT and you are lost?
What does it mean?
The viscosities of oils measured in cSt (centistokes or cP centiPoise) correspond to the universal unit of measurement, measuring the resistance to deformation of a liquid. For example, water at 20°C has a viscosity of about 1cSt.
In contrast, oils measured in WT correspond to a weight.
While the cSt measurement should vary very little from one brand to another, the WT value may be further away.
Here are several comparison tables between the different names to easily find the oil you need!
As always, we advise you to use only one brand of oil in your field case, and we recommend XTR for its quality and consistency:

how much is then 1 Million weight? Or There is 100K (so 100 000 weight) in traxxas catalog! Hiow many cst are these? I have one botlle with "1 million cst" what is the weight for this? this seems to be much "slower" or thicker that this 100 000 (100k weight). 100 WT correspond 1300 cst, ok? but how much should be that 100K weight then? LOL! please clarify!

Hello For differential oils, there is usually only one way of measuring it, it's cst. So 1 million is 1 million.
