The carburetor system “Lockdown” 2-in-1 from Klinik RC performs two essential functions in a clean, simple, and reliable package. It allows you to securely lock the air filter boot onto the carburetor, while also letting it return to neutral effortlessly.

This CNC-machined multifunction aluminum clamping ring is versatile and can be used in virtually all 1/8-scale engine applications.

Air filter boot mounting clamp:

Part 1: The Lockdown carburetor system replaces the cheap classic zip tight and offers unrivaled air filter boot mounting security! How many of us have already destroyed an engine because the zip tie gave way and the air filter flew off the engine? Don’t be that guy.

Part 2: The ring also serves as a holder for the accelerator return O-ring. It allows the O-ring to be positioned away from any object likely to cause damage or failure. The ring is secured with the included M2.5 screw. Reusable indefinitely.

Carburetor linkage rod:

The linkage rod fits any M2 accelerator linkage and is even threaded to offer added security and reliability. The mount is adjustable to leave enough clearance from any object likely to cause damage or failure.

Silicone O-ring:

High elasticity and durability: the exclusive silicone used is chemical (and fuel) resistant and to heat, which ensures that its elastic properties remain unchanged over time without loss of tension. Secure accelerator return and stable tuning. Helps maintain a constant idle, which facilitates engine tuning and allows for more precise and repeatable adjustments.

Simply measure the outer diameter of your air filter boot once mounted on the carburetor and select the corresponding adapter to secure it.
